EDI Partners, Inc. is an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and EC (Electronic Commerce) consulting and processing firm based in Richmond, Virginia. We have successfully provided services to companies as small as 2 people and as large as Fortune 500 international companies in a wide range of industries. Our services include variations of four areas of expertise.
Consulting – We help companies understand and plan the EDI benefits, burdens, costs, savings, efforts, options, what it means to their business and the planning necessary for operation.
Implementation – We help companies implement beginning or expanding EDI operations on their systems or on our systems.
Support – We provide technical support and monitoring for daily EDI operation on our clients’ systems (usually with remote connections) or on our systems.
Processing – We do outsource EDI processing of our clients’ data on our systems which are located in a secure, ‘hot site’ computer center in Richmond.
Our services are provided on an ‘as needed’ project basis, as well as, long-term, on-site staff augmentation arrangements. Our preference is to work from our office to match the nature and needs of EDI work as a ‘work and wait’ activity. This allows us to better interleave the work (and billing) for multiple clients resulting in little or no billing for ‘wait’ activity.
